All House of Dandelions workshops are designed with relaxation in mind. I’m a firm believer in the power of flowers and nature to help us let go of daily stresses and anxieties. Taking a few hours to allow yourself to be creative, immersed in the fresh scent of flowers, can be hugely restorative.
I host private classes in my garden studio in York. Alternatively, for groups of six or more I can bring the flowers to you, whether that's to your home or AirBnb. My most popular flower workshops are hand-tied bouquets (I'll show you two different ways to make them), table arrangements, flower crowns and seasonal wreaths. I also teach large foam-free installations, including meadow-inspired designs, floral arches and suspended flower clouds - all made using sustainable mechanics. No experience is necessary, and all materials such as tools, vessels, and flowers will be provided alongside plenty of Yorkshire tea, coffee and homemade cake.
If you're looking for a more in-depth learning experience, I offer 1-2-1 tuition. This can be tailored to any level of floristry, from complete beginner to professional. Classes are entirely bespoke and tailored to whatever you would like to learn.
I also provide corporate classes for businesses. You can get in touch with me to book or ask about any type of workshop here.

"My friends and I absolutely loved our workshop with Rachel. Everything was perfect, from the beautiful flowers and guidance provided to the fun relaxed atmosphere. By following Rachel's advice the arrangement I made lasted for weeks. Thank you for making my 40th birthday so special."

“I've been making a Christmas wreath every year, but could never understand why all my ivy and berries kept falling out. Now I know! Rachel taught us some really simple tricks and techniques. Her passion for what she does is infectious. I can't recommend her highly enough.”
